Before we bought a section we met with Darryl to discuss our new build requirements and an overall project plan. This gave us a great idea of what to expect about each stage of the building process and to choose our building materials and decorative finishes. The quality of the work completed by Russell Builders Ltd and their sub-contractors is of a very high standard.

Darryl and his building team were always available to advise us and I would recommend them to any perspective buyers.

Russell Builders Ltd was the contract builder which carried out the repairs and rebuild of or leaky apartments at Marine Parade, Mt Maunganui.

Darryl was not only on the tools but also took over the role of project manager after the initial project company went into receivership.

In both the capacity as the builder and as the project manager Darryl carried out these roles with professionalism and the skills required enabling the completion of our project. On our project he was always friendly and approachable and kept us well informed on decisions that need to be made to ensure the repairs were carried out correctly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending him for other building or leaky building projects he undertakes.

“I had a leaky house and after few years of trying everything we could to save it we discovered that it will need to be demolished. When we decided to go ahead we met Darryl from Russel Builders and he’s been very helpful with providing a suitable new home design that fit into our budget and requirements. He was also very flexible with any changes and adjustments we wanted to make even after the plan was finished.

We enjoyed working with Darryl and his friendly team through the whole construction process and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They finished the whole house within the advised time period, which was quite impressive given it was during the Christmas period.

Thanks to Darryl we now live in a healthy, beautiful and safe house.
